We are asking others to join us by including the "Aloha Spirit" in how we move forward, wherever you live. This is a nationwide program initiated and sponsored by the Hawai'i America250 Commission.

If we act with courtesy and caring (core to the Aloha Spirit), Hawai'i, America, and the World will be strengthened.

America's Field Trip Contest

America's Field Trip — National Student Contest

When:
Submissions accepted now through March 30, 2026.

Who:
Students in grades 3–12 across the United States.

What:
Create artwork or essays answering the question “What does America mean to you?”

Prizes:
125 first-place winners receive a 3-day, 2-night trip; 125 second-place winners receive $500.

All 50 States, 5 Territories, District of Columbia, and Minor Outlying Islands

What:
Americans across the nation will read the Declaration of Independence 'together' at the 'same' time, commemorating the first public reading on July 8, 1776, 250 years later.
